GAMES
games are such a cool piece of media. even in the AUDIO department it's very unique — games offer an INTERACTIVE and immersive experience rather than a passive one that allows you to actively shape stories and explore detailed worlds. i also found a fascination for ONLINE MULTIPLAYER games over the years through STEAM. but now i want to tell you the whole story.
i always played video games and i never really stopped. we got a NINTENDO WII U at home in 2012 and at that time it was the best thing that could've happened. later, in 2015 we got a NINTENDO 3DS and in 2018 i bought myself a NINTENDO SWITCH. i bought it with all the money i had at the time. 320 euros. i was broke for months because i still owed my brother money for SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY.
in 2020, when the pandemic started, i bought his old PC. for the first time i could play all the ASSASSIN'S CREEDS, the GTAs, and of course MINECRAFT with my friends. MINECRAFT is a magical game. and if you ask me, it's the best ever made.
speaking of the best game ever: in 2021 i started playing other games on PC, especially RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2. i loved it and i still do. i have around 500 hours of playing time and i still like to play it sometimes.
since 2024, i am playing new games regularly. some of the best were GOD OF WAR 2018, RAGNAROK, GHOST OF TSUSHIMA, OUTER WILDS, RED DEAD REDEMPTION, THE LAST OF US PART I, MAFIA I&II, UNDERTALE, THE WITCHER 3 and recently KINGDOM COME DELIVERANCE II.
also a couple of games that i enjoy playing with friends are PEAK, RV THERE YET, LETHAL COMPANY, R.E.P.O., HOLDFAST, LIAR'S BAR, ONCE HUMAN, ASTRONEER and RED DEAD ONLINE.
in 2025 i almost made a dream come true. i started making my own video game in GODOT engine. i composed half the soundtrack and started creating the hubworld and lots of textures. then, due to work and university i shelved the project FOR NOW!! i'd really like to finish the game one day.
but a dream that i made come true was buying a NINTENDO 64 in 2025. with that, i bought SUPER MARIO 64, ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME, BANJO KAZOOIE and DONKEY KONG 64. i finished SUPER MARIO 64 100% in a few days and loved it so much. now i'm playing OCARINA OF TIME and finishing BANJO KAZOOIE.
